- 24 ounces Norman's Kosher Cholov Yisroel Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
Orange & Vanilla Topping
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 orange
**Directions:**
1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
2. In a bowl, combine crushed vanilla wafers, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Set aside.
3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the sugar and continue to beat until creamy.
4. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Fold in the crushed cookies.
5. Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is almost set.
6. While the cheesecake is baking, prepare the topping by mixing sour cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and orange zest.
7. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and spread the topping over the hot cheesecake. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
8. Allow the cheesecake to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Enjoy!
