Creamy Macadamia Delight Cheesecake
Ingredients:
- 6 oz Shortbread cookies, crushed
- 4 tbsp Unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz Norman's Kosher Cholov Yisroel Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Macadamia nuts, chopped
- 2 tbsp Honey
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed shortbread cookies and melted butter. Mix well until the mixture resembles wet sand.
- Press the cookie mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
- In a separate mixing bowl, beat the Norman's Kosher Cholov Yisroel Cream Cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.
- While the cheesecake is baking, combine the chopped macadamia nuts and honey in a small bowl. Mix well.
- Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Sprinkle the macadamia nut topping evenly over the cheesecake.
- Cool the cheesecake completely in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
