Matcha & Sesame Delight Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons matcha powder
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz Norman's Kosher Cholov Yisroel Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup dried figs, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup peanut butter cups, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sesame seeds, matcha powder, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to create the crust.
- In another bowl, beat the softened Norman's Kosher Cholov Yisroel Cream Cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in the vanilla extract, rosemary, and dried figs until fully incorporated.
- Pour the filling over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.
- Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the cheesecake to fully set.
- Once chilled, remove the sides of the springform pan.
- Sprinkle the chopped peanut butter cups over the top of the cheesecake as a delicious finishing touch.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy!
