Matcha & Sesame Delight Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz Norman's Kosher Cholov Yisroel Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup dried figs, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter cups, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sesame seeds, matcha powder, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to create the crust.
  4. In another bowl, beat the softened Norman's Kosher Cholov Yisroel Cream Cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6. Mix in the vanilla extract, rosemary, and dried figs until fully incorporated.
  7. Pour the filling over the crust in the springform pan.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.
  9. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the cheesecake to fully set.
  11. Once chilled, remove the sides of the springform pan.
  12. Sprinkle the chopped peanut butter cups over the top of the cheesecake as a delicious finishing touch.
  13. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
