Chocolate Hazelnut Cheesecake with Apple Pie Base and Whipped Cream Topping

Ingredients

  • Apple Pie Base:
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

  • Chocolate Hazelnut Filling:
  • 16 oz Norman's Kosher Cholov Yisroel Cream Cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread

  • Whipped Cream Topping:
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Apple Pie Base:
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  3. Mix together graham cracker crumbs, sugar, butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.
  4. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  5. Chocolate Hazelnut Filling:
  6. In a large mixing bowl, beat Norman's Kosher Cholov Yisroel Cream Cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  7. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  8. Stir in chocolate hazelnut spread until evenly distributed.
  9. Pour mixture over the apple pie base.
  10. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is almost set.
  11. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  12. Whipped Cream Topping:
  13. In a mixing bowl, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  14. Spread whipped cream over the chilled cheesecake.
  15. Serve and enjoy!
