Chocolate Hazelnut Cheesecake with Apple Pie Base and Whipped Cream Topping
Ingredients
- Apple Pie Base:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Chocolate Hazelnut Filling:
- 16 oz Norman's Kosher Cholov Yisroel Cream Cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
- Whipped Cream Topping:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Apple Pie Base:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix together graham cracker crumbs, sugar, butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.
- Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
- Chocolate Hazelnut Filling:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat Norman's Kosher Cholov Yisroel Cream Cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- Stir in chocolate hazelnut spread until evenly distributed.
- Pour mixture over the apple pie base.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is almost set.
- Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Whipped Cream Topping:
- In a mixing bowl, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Spread whipped cream over the chilled cheesecake.
- Serve and enjoy!
