Cornbread Cheesecake with Plain Filling and Caramel Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 pack of cornbread mix (8.5 oz)
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 2 containers of Norman's Kosher Cholov Yisroel Cream Cheese (16 oz total)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix cornbread mix and melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in heavy cream and pour mixture into crust.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until center is almost set.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, drizzle caramel sauce on top.
