Lemon Bar Base

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (from 1 lemon)

Fudge Brownie Topping

  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Lemon Bar Base Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and lemon zest.
  2. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. Remove from oven and let cool while preparing the filling.
