Ingredients:
- 2 cups crushed Oreos
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 (8 oz) containers of NORMAN’S KOSHER CHOLOV YISROEL CREAM CHEESE, softened
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 jar of fruit compote (your choice of flavor)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreos and melted butter together until combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until creamy.
- Add sugar and vanilla extract, and beat until fluffy.
- One at a time, beat in the eggs, taking care to beat well after adding each egg.
- Add in the sour cream and beat until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture into the crust and bake for 45 minutes or until the cheesecake is set in the center.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool to room temperature. Then chill in the refrigerator
- Before serving, spoon the desired amount of fruit compote over the top of the cheesecake
